WatchTime Returns to New York

North America’s largest and most influential watch exhibition and collector event will return to New York City on October 18th-20th, 2024. Last year, over the course of a single weekend, the event welcomed over 2,000 watch enthusiasts to Midtown Manhattan at Gotham Hall – and with 34 watch brand exhibitors already confirmed, WatchTime New York 2024 is poised to be the show’s biggest edition yet.

When WatchTime New York first launched in 2015, the revolutionary event concept – part watch exhibition, meetup, and educational forum – forever changed the way brands market to collectors – and the way collectors experience and buy watches. The event was the first of its kind to bring brands, executives, designers, tastemakers, and collectors together in a single forum, inviting connection and fostering community. Over the last nine years, the runaway success of WatchTime New York has helped pull back the industry curtain and propel watch collecting from a solitary, niche pursuit to a mainstream, global, communal experience.

Roger Ruegger, WatchTime Editor-in-Chief, said, “As we head into year nine of WatchTime New York, we are also grateful to celebrate WatchTime Magazine’s 25th anniversary. This event is the living fulfillment of WatchTime’s mission to educate and connect collectors with the watchmakers and brands they love. We can’t wait to mark this milestone moment in New York this fall with our global network of collectors, brand partners, and friends – and special guests soon to be revealed.”

During his 2023 visit to the show, investor, author, TV personality, and watch collector Kevin O’Leary (“Mr. Wonderful”) described WatchTime New York as “spectacular,” and “a gathering of a global scale.”

Anniversary

Sara Orlando, WatchTime Publisher says, “We are so proud that the event has only continued to grow in prestige and has become a true ‘bucket list’ destination experience attracting watch enthusiasts from around the world. Last year, our guests represented 26 different states and seven different countries – with nearly fifty percent of 2023 WatchTime New York attendees being first-time guests. This year is extra special in that we get to celebrate our show and WatchTime’s 25th anniversary, which is no small feat!”
