Strom Watches Celebrate Racing Legacy

Strom has unveiled its its latest watch collection, VENTUS I GMT – 4 NATIONS, inspired by the iconic colours related with four historic racing legacies. These exceptional timepieces embody the spirit of competition and make a bold statement.

Rosso Corsa (Racing Red) represents the vibrant red hue seen on Italian race cars. Since the 1920’s, brands like Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lancia, Ferrari, and Abarth have proudly sported Rosso Corsa, which remains Italy’s traditional racing colour.

Bleu de France (French Racing Blue) pays homage to France, the birthplace of motorsport, and its enduring racing history. French teams have donned their national Racing Blue with pride for over a century, long after many teams switched to sponsor liveries.

British Racing Green (BRG) derives its name from the green international racing colour of the United Kingdom. It originated from the 1903 Gordon Bennett Cup held in Ireland, where British cars were painted shamrock green as a mark of respect.

Silver Arrow (Silberpfeil) refers to the famous silver racing cars of the 1930’s. In 1934, when Grand Prix regulations mandated a weight limit, Alfred Neubauer and driver Manfred von Brauchitsch stripped the white paint off the bodywork to reduce weight, giving birth to the iconic “Silver Arrow” colour.
