Maison Parisienne at PAD London

Maison Parisienne, Juliette Clovis, Dark Fall

Celebrating 15 years, nomadic gallery Maison Parisienne participates in PAD London once again this year. Florence Guillier Bernard, the founder, curates a sophisticated ambiance to present exceptional artists of material.

For the artists’ debut at PAD London, Juliette Clovis unveils exceptional porcelain diptychs titled Dark Fall (above), displayed alongside the artwork Aankh, created for the gallery’s 15th anniversary exhibition.

Echoing these murals, Julien Vermeulen’s Black Shudder is showcased—a feather marquetry masterpiece that creates a hypnotic effect through its interplay of shadow and light.

Reimagining the traditional tapestry, Aurélie Mathigot’s latest creation, Hommage à Calais, transforms abstract photographs through intricate embroidery and frames them with the plush texture of crocheted wool.

Woodwork

In a palette of neutral tones, woodwork is celebrated through pieces by Jérôme Blanc, notably his Tribu series. This theme continues with another standout piece: the Möbius Alliance bench. An extraordinary collaboration between wood sculptor Pierre Renart and marble artisan David Léger, the one-of-a-kind sculpture features American walnut with organic curves that cradle the Grand Antique marble like a precious jewel.

Finally, textile artist Simone Pheulpin presents a new large-scale mural titled Tornado (66 cm x 66 cm), while Gérald Vatrin’s glass sculptures from the Mali Tribal series add an additional dimension to the gallery’s display.
