Sotheby’s New York Fine Jewels auction offers selections from modern and classic designers including David Webb, Van Cleef & Arpels, Elizabeth Gage, Tiffany & Co. and Chanel.

Chanel Ear Clips

Estimated at $3000 to $5000, Chanel’s beaded gold surmounts are accented by round diamonds and suspending cultured pearl tassels measuring from 5.4 to 2.7 mm.

Van Cleef & Arpels Bracelet

Van Cleef & Arpels’ gold and diamond designer bracelet takes detail to a new level with gold links as elegant, stylised leaves. Accentuated by red diamonds, the bracelet is ideal for wearers looking for something lightweight and slim, yet nothing short of detail. Estimated at $8000 to $12000.

David Webb Emerald Brooch

If you’re an animal lover, David Webb’s owl brooch might be your go-to jewellery! Designed as an owl, featuring eyes set with cabochon emeralds and feathers applied with black enamel that accented by round diamonds, the brooch promises a sophisticated finish to round off your outfit. The gross weight of the emerald, diamond and enamel clip-brooch stands at approximately 35 pennyweights and it has an estimated value of $5000-$7000.

Alexandre Reza Pearl necklace

Stunning emeralds and pearls appear in Alexandre Reza’s pearl necklace with a detachable pendant that treasures a carved emerald measuring approximately 22.1 x 16.9 x 4.7mm. The emerald is hyphenated by a gold frame, within which there are round diamonds at every side of the frame. The pendant is held together by a triple-strand of natural pearls, whose sizing ranges from 5.60m to 3.50mm, and are spaced by beaded gold rondelles in between.

The level of intricate detailing does not end there; Alexandra Reza’s necklace is topped off by a round diamond-set floral clasp.

Bulgari Watch and Bracelet

A gold and diamond ‘Parentesi’ Watch-Bracelet and Cuff-Bracelet by Bulgari (see top of page), the watch-bracelet featuring a round dial pavé-set with single-cut diamonds, on a sprung bracelet composed of baton and scalloped links, accented by round diamonds, quartz movement, gross weight approximately 57 dwts, internal circumference 5⅜ inches, bezel, case back and bracelet signed Bulgari, numbered BJ 01 and G54815, the bezel with Swiss hallmark, case back with French import marks and workshop mark, the bracelet with Italian registry, workshop and maker’s marks; with a matching cuff-bracelet also of sprung design, gross weight approximately 58 dwts, internal circumference 6⅛ inches, signed Bulgari, numbered BA 1308, with Italian registry mark. Estimate $10,000-$15,000.
