Italian Jewelry Brand Faraone Launches Auction Department

Faraone, the high-end Italian jewelry brand established in 1860, has just launched Faraone Casa D’Aste, a brand new auction department.

Well received by collectors and traders, the Faraone Casa D’Aste sees Faraone’s experienced team evaluate fine jewelry masterpieces of all periods, including many iconic brands, from single pieces to entire collections.

Over the years, aficionados intrigued by the Faraone brand have included members of various noble families, such as Queen Margherita of Savoy, the Monegasque royal family, Charlotte Casiraghi, as well as classic stars of opera and cinema Maria Callas, Anna Magnani, Ava Gardner and Ingrid Bergman.

Along with the more traditional activity of fine jewelry creation, twice a year Faraone will put astonishing masterpieces, jewels and watches under the hammer. The first auction will be held on 16 June where 150 masterpieces will be auctioned, including the diamond parure which once belonged to the Queen of Italy, Margherita of Savoy.

The Faraone Casa D’Aste auction will be held at the Four Seasons, Milan on 16 June 2016.
